What is a Lace Front Wig?
Lace Front units are made partially of lace and give the illusion of the hair growing from the scalp only across the front. The remainder of the system is made of a stretch or monfilament material. The back of the unit has a fit and feel of a traditional  wig and can be worn in a low ponytail.

What is a Thin Skin Wig (PU) ?

These wigs are undetectable as the hairs are individually implanted through the fine poly skin base. The bottom layer base is made from polyurethane and can accomodate any kind of adhesive, but should only be worn in cooler climates.

What is the life span of my unit?

With proper care and maintenance, most units on the market today have a lifespan of 6-12 months. It is advisable to own two units to lengthen the lifespan of your unit and for easier maintenance.

Swiss lace is a soft, comfortable, undetectable and breathable lace and is best the choice for experienced wearers.

This light density French lace wig has a full thin skin underneath, shown with corn rolls. Don't try this with any ordinary wig.

Thin Skin, also known as polyurethane is available in several colors to match your exact skin tone. The injection looping ventilation provides a secure attachment for the hair and appears to be growing right out of the scalp. The extremely thin Micro Skin poly material is ventilated by hand, using a looping technique so the hair will stay secure longer and so the hair appears to be growing right out of the scalp. The thin skin base looks great with a lighter density levels. Thin skin is added under the lace wig, and is a form of plastic, that gives your wig hair the look of it growing from your head. To achieve this look for less, add to the perimeter.

Pros: - More durable then lace only wigs. - Has the illusion that is growing directly out of your scalp. - Easy maintenance and removal. - Stronger tapes and glues can be used. - Natural looking parts. - Longer life span then lace.

Cons:

- Not as breathable as lace (not good for hot climates or for those who exercise frequently). - Will melt if hot styling tools touch it. - Cannot accept hair densities over Medium, if it’s a full thin skin cap. However, if it’s a perimeter thin skin cap, it can tolerate higher hair densities.

The picture shows a full lace wig, front lace will have a more traditional back and lace on the front end.

Full Lace Wigs

The full lace front wig look is the most natural and undetectable look available. Full Lace Front Wigs are crafted to maximize breath ability and comfort. The special transitional density of the front hairline is done to replicate the natural pattern of growing hair.

Pros:

- Natural parting possible throughout entire unit. - Versatility (can be worn in up dos and braids). - Breathable, lightweight and comfortable to wear.

Cons:

- Delicate compared to front lace only - Will have to be glued around the entire perimeter for a natural look. - Time consuming for daily wearers- not an issue for extended wearers.

Lace Front Wigs

The lace front wig approach gives the illusion of a natural appearance from ear-to-ear in the front. This lace frontal portion is actually made up of replaceable piece for easy repair, while the back area is crafted from a more durable material.

Pros:

- Easier to apply. - Will be able to wear hair off face, and back in a low ponytail. - Heavier hair densities can be achieve nicely due to the durability - Breathable. - Natural looking hairline.

Cons:

- Not as versatile styling wise. - Not as soft to the touch as full lace.

Note: Both our full lace and front lace wigs are assembled by hand. We hand craft each hair to fit perfectly in your lace wig. No machine can give you such quality control.
